Robert Krayevsky

Completes his first ever FX Pro weekend at Vallelunga

Robert Krayevsky has completed his very first race weekend in the FX Pro Series in Italy. The FX Pro Series run Gen 1 Formula 4 cars, and takes place around different tracks in Italy. This weekend, on Robert’s debut, the series made it to Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi. A track near Rome that hosts many different series such as Italian F4, Euro NASCAR, TCR Series and GT races.

The weekend started out tricky, Robert had problems with the car early on which limited his track time during practise. Despite this, he managed to qualify in a decent position. Once the first race got underway, he had a stall on the grid, having to get used to the different clutch. Despite this, Robert had great pace. He was keeping up with the top 5 drivers on track and soon started making moves forward until the safety car came out due to an incident elsewhere on track. This bunched the field up, and once they got going again, a car in front of Robert had problems and was going slowly. Robert overtook him because of this, but it was before the start/finish line, meaning he got a post-race penalty for overtaking illegally. Overall throughout this race, Robert showed great speed despite only having had a limited amount of practise time.

For race 2, Robert had a grid penalty due to the penalty from race 1. This made him start P16 on the grid. He managed to work his way up through the field gaining six spots, making it all the way up to P10. Which meant points on debut for Robert. This whole weekend, despite all the circumstances, Robert showed great potential and is showing everyone why he is a name to keep in mind for the coming years.
